Happy Birthday mom!!
I decided to sing to my mom a little tune that I sing for my students when it's their birthday... I wonder why she feels like she wants to escape!
"Mandana has waited a whole long year to light her birthday candle... and so we sing and sit in a ring... for Mandana is ___ today!"

My wife and I were trying to remember the words of this song which we sang at our kids' nursery school in South Africa. I googled "waited a whole long year to light" and the only hit I got was this blog entry of yours. Do you have all the words of the full song that you could email me at terrycmccann@gmail.com?
